just a quick vent i hope this doesnt blow up but im seeing ridiculous discourse and im about to lose my mind (ill get back to writing in a sec)

why are ppl acting like white trans women are a special type of racist or acting like white trans women are more likely to be racist than any other type of white queer ppl? obviously ik white queer ppl tend to be racist and i agree that we should be calling that shit out, no buts or ifs! i just dont know why white trans women are being called “specifically racist” by some ppl. it is giving transmisogyny because why are white trans men not being held to this same standard? because i dont see anyone doing this shit with white trans dudes nearly as often. (as a white trans dude myself) why are white trans men or white nonbinary/enbies not being held to this? why is it that ppl are targeting specifically white TRANS WOMEN when they talk about the queer community’s racism?

and ik why. its because a lot of you believe that white trans women were socialized as white men because ur not only transphobic but also transmisogynistic. this community cant criticize the white queer community’s racism without acting like white trans women have this specific racist gene to them and it’s very telling. u can all go to hell.

it really makes you feel like you're losing your mind when the last decade of cis allyship has consisted on yelling "trans women are women!" ((but doing nothing else)) and yet now a worrying number of them can't even recognize transmisogyny as a **women's issue** and not a secret, separate thing

this is extremely true also and we need to remember that this is a tiny win honestly because at the end of the day prisons are still institutionalized torture and rape camps and trans women are still gonna face insane discrimination especially from their cis male inmates.
