“The album was born from the idea of hope. After researching and gathering thoughts on the topic, I realized that approaching it too intellectually didn’t feel authentic. So I let go again - and allowed the music to take its own path. That spirit of hope and positivity, which is a big part of how I live, found its way into every piece - not as a forced theme, but as a quiet thread woven throughout. While my debut album EM.PERIENCE was mainly shaped by external experiences and places, IN.SIGHT is more intimate. It reflects a journey inward - the path of listening, trusting, and exploring what moves me at the core. IN.SIGHT combines ‘inside’ and ‘sight’ - an invitation to look deeper, inward, both emotionally and musically.”

I know pundits like to throw around terms like 'breathtaking' and 'transcendent' with all the restraint of a toddler with a can of silly string, but d*mn if I can think of a more fitting set of adjectives.
Don't think I've ever heard anything quite like this. Pharaoh is the type of virtuoso that doesn't need to blow you out with tech to leave you speechless. Got me feeling emotions n sh*t. Ghuughra
Best jazz album of the year. I've checked out Yazz's past albums and they were all solid, but this new album is clearly the dominant force in her discography. The music on this record not only requires your attention, it demands it. It has such a commanding presence to it, I love it drpepperderf
This musical elegy for the victims of WW1 was written by three composers commissioned by the Australian Art Orchestra.

Unlike any other. Its feel is both reflective and down to earth, and the compositions are easily differentiated despite their relative shortness. Not only a pleasure to listen to, this album is rhythmically complex, but not in a maddening, hard to process way. Also, very clever album title. ianjworsomething
