Fabrissou : A tumblr about eyebrows
Hello, my name is Fabrissou. I live in Paris, France. This page is mainly about my artworks.
This place may and will be NSFW. I love drawing big eyebrow hairy guys who send me nudes...

How did u get so good at drawing guns, and how long have u been drawing them?

Thank you for the compliment! I wouldn’t call myself an expert on the matter yet (I’m still doing my best to learn!), but drawing guns is actually not as difficult as most people would think-I threw together a little how-to that more or less illustrates my thought process when tackling guns (semi-automatic pistols, sorry). This is just bare bones information however, for there are many different makes and models of guns that won’t always comply with steps 2 and 3 of this tutorial (the example I drew is based off a SIGp228).  But that’s where the internet and picture references come in to help fill in the blanks!

Funny thing is that I avoided drawing guns like the plague up until last year when my buddy finally took me shooting and I think I developed some sort of mutual understanding with them (read: I really really liked it) and decided to learn how to draw them good!

/EDIT/PS ANON IF YOU MEANT TO ASK HOW I DRAW NOT FIREARM GUNS BUT MUSCLE GUNS THEN I’M SORRY OMG

but FOLDS hoyl shit folds folds are so awesome man you literally have no idea I like drawing folds som uch I’ll put them in places where they don’t even belong sometimes. Honestly this is far from definitive and is just my understanding of how folds works gleamed from hours upon hours staring at strangers pants on mass transit, so don’t take my word for it, do your own study! Look at your own jeans in the mirror! look at other peoples jeans! google jeans on the internets! Each different fit is going to come with it’s own folds, depending on factors like the cut of the leg and how much fabric there is and how heavy it is and man there are just so many variables and things to think about it’s awesome

This is for you, Nose Anon!

Honestly, I suck at tutorials. I really, really do. This is my first one since…forever ago [and back then I sucked worse so that doesn’t even count] and it was kind of just a quick “Let’s see what I DO know and see if I have any idea how to convey that coherently, or maybe it’ll just explode in my face”

SO HERE YOU GO! All I know about drawing noses freehand in an almost-tutorial…ish…thing. Maybe.

Hey, if you don’t mind sharing, I’ve always wondered how you got that soft celling look on your characters in your comic. Any tips? I’m currently working on my own comic and I kind of want to go for a less harsh form of cell shading. Thanks!

A couple people have asked about the way I color things and I’ve been meaning to post a tutorial on it :]. I’ve never been too good at describing my process, but I hope this helps!

broadfields asked you: Could you possibly do a mouth tutorial? Unless you’ve already done so. In that case, possibly pointing me in the right direction? :]

I wash my hands of this. It’s evidence of my piss-poor design skills.

This is why I normally draw skulls first and then a face on top of it.

haha

HAHAHAHAHA

Of course I would reblog this are you all daft

some hands by milt kahl, animator on 101 Dalmatians and Sword in the Stone and bunches of other films. source is here (and photobucket), and its got some other sketches and things by him as well

anyway, can you fuckin believe how this guy draws hands? look at them, FUCK they are wonderful

I think what I remember most about the Milt Kahl films, when I was tiny, was the hands. They were what stood out to me—especially in Robin Hood (because they were a mix between human and animal). I don’t know how Kahl’s hands managed to be so fascinating to a 7 year old, but that’s what I clearly remember about those old movies as a child.

Reblogging to add to my massive collection of hand references I’ve printed out. (First week of school people got sick of watching me practice drawing haaands. It just became like “OH YOU’RE DRAWING HANDS AGAIN?” “BUT THEY’RE LE HARD!”)

How do you choose your colors? They always have so much variety and depth. Your present for W. Moon especially, all the colors in her hair alone just…I can’t even describe.
It’s hard to explain what I’m thinking when I color, since it’s a lot of things, but I decided to make a mini-tuto to answer that question. I know a lot of this is known to you, but I figured part of it might be useful to others also. So here’s a quick tuto-reply-thing.
