as much as i jest about the limitations of minecraft expression i do have to say i am VERY passionate about minecraft body language. there's just something about it. it's so limited but players can express SO much and everybody has their own little body language quirks that you can pick up on really fast. You can generally tell what people are trying to indicate or what irl movement theyre trying to replicate with their avatar. Gesturing to things with their hands or a nod of the head. Fidgeting and shuffling in place. The way you hold items conveying different things. Crouching to show excitement or attention or affection or a hug. like genuinely it's REALLY cool.

the only way for the minecraft movie to be good is if one of the characters gets confused with redstone and says “what is this mumbo jumbo?!” and mumbo jumbo appears behind them and goes “its really quite simple”
