my sister (the coolest & favoritest one) (there’s 3 sisters & i love them all but this one isn’t homophobic & she’s just swaggier than the others) is coming home TODAY!!!!! and i know her plane just landed and my parents are picking her up and she’s gonna be here soon HOORAYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! i live on the edge… working on a sewing project in bed while i’m sleepy. my risk-taker adrenaline junkie behavior
i lied im too tired. being #safe now.
i had the world’s most successful errands this afternoon and did nothing else all day. the life.
actually. a run down of the errands. you have to understand how well my errands went.
i first went to my local bookstore. i wanted two books. i was originally going to put said books on my christmas wish list, but i was unexpectedly gifted a $50 bookstore gift card, and went to see if i could get the books with my gift card instead. they ordered the books for me. they will be here in about two weeks! and! both books will cost $50.94! near perfectly covered by my gift card! the lady in the bookstore recommended me another book based on the ones i was buying.
i then headed over to my favorite local coffee shop. i had used my little punchcard enough to get a free drink. i got a large tiramisu latte for FREE and it was DELICIOUS! the barista did some really beautiful latte art on it too :D
i then took my coffee and went over to the library. at the library i put on hold the book that the book store employee recommended to me, and i picked up a winter reading program card. i then headed over to the maker space in my library and asked for their help with burning CDs (i’m gifting my family CDs of one of our campfire music sessions from our vacation this summer). i knew they had some digitization equipment but wasn’t sure if they’d have exactly what i needed. they DID have what i needed, it was super easy to do, and the employee helping me only charged me 50 cents per CD when they usually charge a dollar. so i now have the main component of my family’s christmas gifts AND i know how to go burn CDs whenever i want to. double awesome.
i literally accomplished everything i set out to do and then some AND i made it home before dark. and i did nothing else productive all day. perfection.
compact discs are beautiful fairy creatures that hate me so much and do not want to deal with my kind
i take it back. it was not the malice of the compact disc. the compact disc is beautiful and benevolent and it was i who was unworthy. i needed to fix my heart before appealing to the compact disc. when approached with humility and love the compact disc shall return your beneficence to you one thousand fold. the compact disc loves you if you treat it with patience, love, awe, respect. the beautiful fairy creatures.

but i do need to get up… and i do want to… there’s no classes today & i’m going art museum hopping
