While it’s literally barely more than ten percent dialogue and ninety percent scene-blocking and research, this fic is my excuse opportunity to explore the following fact:

For all of their apparent maturity, Alec and Magnus are both absolute shits who are married to their jobs as well as each other and they would not take being cooped up and sick well.

Even if Magnus is this wise centuries-old Warlock, in season three we saw how he reacted the second it became apparent he couldn’t do his job or live his life they way he used to. Mans had a very normal response to the grief of it all. He still went wild tho. He straight-up did not care what happened to him so long as he could retain some small semblance of the way things were before. Which, mood.

ANYWAYS the sickfic is me wanting to explore this, but smaller-scale and in a funnier way.

And Alec, for all all he tries to be “don’t push me away” and act on the “let others help you” character growth he acquires over the course of the series, is much the same.
