Hamster Escapes the Most Dangerous Prison Maze 🐹
While this seems cute I'm pretty sure it's stressful to the hamster
Does anyone know more about this?
The hamster does not watch movies, and therefore is unaware that the cardboard and plastic props in his obstacle course are references to well-known cinematic deathtraps.
Hamsters love to roam. If he didn't want to be doing this, he won't keep going.
This is a ton of enrichment for them, different textures and obstacles. Balancing, moving through the water pebbles.
It looks to me like hammy is used to this course and is unafraid - I'm no expert, but he doesn't look frightened (hams will hide if unhappy/frightened, and as @sulkyskywalker points out, he wouldn't do it if he was fearful) and he seems familiar with the different parts of the course. Getting treats at various intervals is also rewarding for him - so he explores a route that he knows won't actually hurt him, and he gets treats along the way!

Tiny room in a 20x20cm wooden box.
I filled it with vintage things I’ve collected, put in wallpaper and a carpet and made the bedding and the tiny bear.
