lyrics
It's come to this
Jealousy has taken me
You are no descendent of a God-like prophecy
Anger flows through my veins
and I plot to destroy your legacy
I plot to destroy your life's work
I shall take my rightful place as king and begin anew
I shall be the praised one who goes down in history
and you will be nothing more than a faint memory
My dear rival, you are but far too trusting
Your gullibility is indeed your ultimate downfall
Immortality is just one drink away
Quench your thirst, It's the only way
Ingest this poison
My heart's overfilled with joy as your eyes roll to the back of your skull
I've succeeded, I've succeeded
My only purpose is to destroy your fucking existence and
claim your crown as my own, I will take upon your throne
I will take it as my own, I will take it as my own...
I must insist
This plot was quite genius
Rot away in the gravel, Cease to no longer be
This world now belongs to me
Bow down beneath my feet
I shall be the praised one who goes down in history
and you shall be nothing more than a fading memory

I was listening to the new (phenomenal) Demon King album, and Mike Low’s production style finally clicked enough for me to truly appreciate Revenant for the first time. Sad thing is that it took so long. I hope there’s another album from these guys in ‘26. Metallurgical Fire
INFERI doesn't need any intro, I have this album in my BC collection as digital download but I definitely wanted to grab a CD before the U.S. & A. cuts Europe and the rest of the world off :)) sashavonkarl74
Amazing album, mindbending stuff and so engaging no matter where these goddamn wizards decided they wanted to go. Multiple instances where i went "you what?!", I started giggling with astonishment with some of the sections in these songs. Chris Jackson
