Enjoy this rare look at my early artistic days. I’m still going through boxes in my basement and cleaning things out, and I got to a box of all my art stuff from when I was a kid. And after a quick glance, this color-pencil tribute to the Black Crowes is probably the only thing I’m willing to let people see.

Anyway, if you were wondering what I was up to in the summer before senior year, here you go.

A quick sticky-note doodle while I listen to stuff at work…

Doodles back at work while I’m listening to Neil Young and Crazy Horse do their thing on Broken Arrow, and specifically “Music Arcade.”

I haven’t finished one of these in forever, but there are a half-dozen half-finished doodles on my phone that have been driving me mildly crazy and I needed to get something out of it.

So I’ve been listening to Paul McCartney for most of the day, and I played with a new brush and knocked this out, beginning to end, in the past 15 minutes. Now that’s done, it’s whatever and I can maybe finish one of the other ones now. Someday.
