Why can't console search/sort cosmetics?

If you've been playing the game a long time like I have, you've probably accumulated a large variety of styles, costumes, skins, tattoos, etç. Yet there's no way to go through them quickly to find what you want to use. This even makes buying stuff from the crown store feel less cool than it should because it's another item on a long list. This would be a nice quality of life change.

K/M UI does have a search bar for our collectables, and it is very useful.

I'm surprised that that's another thing that never made it to gamepad UI. ZOS really should try to get gamepad UI to have all of the options we have on K/M UI.

Oh....yeah, we don't have that.

It's kind of annoying that such a basic thing apparently exists only on PC but not console. IDK why they haven't updated console UI to have some of these features.

Not the silliest difference I know about. Console can't change the height of the camera for the 3rd person view.

PS: You may want to edit your post to point out you are talking about console.

I didn't even know we could search on PC.
If only I could remember the name of anything!

You can favourite an item on console, so if it is one you've newly acquired you can at least give it a marker to find easily again.

Years ago I bought the cosmetic pack along with the hair, the base game ones. I was new and had crowns.
Now I wish I could hide all those, they just clutter up a filling list of stuff I actually want.

yea, but sadly the limit is 100 items and it includes Pets, Houses, and Mementos.

I really wish a mod maker could make an addon that gave us the UI look and function of PC. It just looks so much better.

yea, but sadly the limit is 100 items and it includes Pets, Houses, and Mementos.

Yep. Pretty much anything in the game that can be favorited shares teh same pool.

Heck, my favorite Head Markings alone could benefit from a search tool.

Honestly, I have nothing but respect for console players. I honestly don't know how you all cope with the dreadful UIs.

I still remember when Skyrim launched and the PC community went nuts (rightly so) that they'd made the UI for consoles. SkyUI was one of the biggest downloaded mods when it released.

At the same time, you controller people are just weird. Get a mouse and keyboard, noob!

PS. That goes extra for you PC controller users.

Personally, Controllers and its User Interface are more accessible for me.

Keyboard and Mouse interface is so tiny, the skills and text are much harder to see/read. Whilst a Keyboard is useful for typing text, other than that it does not make Gameplay easier usually.

There are a lot of things that could be improved in the console/gamepad UI. Most of the hangups are really just design issues. If ZOS were to completely retool button controls, they could easily adapt to an intuitive button interaction interface freeing up more command options.

And heck, I'd absolutely love it if ZOS would implement Cursor Mode into the console UI. I'd blow my stack if they were to ever seriously consider that.

Gods, having to use a mouse & keypad would make me feel like I was at work!

The add-on I want is a way to properly search furniture plans.

Trader Filter on console lets you filter out known plans. So you can search for furnishing plans using the regular search and then use that to hide anything you already know.
