This is a different recipe. It is much more common than the one from BGs.

It is but they were asking what the cyrodiil recipe looked like. It is a component of making the final recipe so semi-relevant.

To keep from going too far off topic, I've been trying on and off for the Chef's Thesis for years and haven't seen one drop ever. Nobody in my friend group has either and one of them was in a dedicated battlegrounds guild when he still played. I have pretty much every f2p style, recipe, furnishing plan, and cosmetic in the game except the White-Gold War Torte and it's definitely not from lack of trying. I'm ok with rare/priceless items but the droprate is lower than any other priceless item and most of those also had their droprate bumped up in the past so they're no longer as rare as they used to be so I always found it odd this is the last holdout on that.

Good to know, I hope the price eventually goes down enough for me to purchase one for my main character. I think I’ve done all the BGs I can stand for a lifetime and I know I will have to pay for someone else’s pain or even time if they actually enjoy that.

The first torte is really helpful, yet it has a way of expiring just before a keep flips. "It ain't loyal", as they say.

The second recipe I bought for a discount, but it was still a total waste of money. I mean, if I really needed more AP, I could just buy the full WG Torte that sold for around 300k at the time. If I really wanted to.

The third recipe, the 'Thesis' is so great if you can find one, but really the only thing you can do with it is either sell it or keep it and sell the WG Tortes. But even that is expensive. Changes to BGs has probably offset the pop playing it so that means even fewer chances of finding. And anyone looking for it has to deal with alot of crap from the new BGs.

Then there's Midyear's Events and testing and so forth which already provides a ton of AP. The way this is setup now the Thesis is only good for making gold off of for the extremely few people who find one. But it's really not necessary for what it's used for. Cheaper to make AP without it. Might be another golden milestone for some much-needed changes.
