I ordered a pair of Hestra ski gloves…
I ordered a pair of Hestra ski gloves which was priced less than other retailers by about 20%. After three days, I sent an email requesting shipping information. There was no reply from The Warming Store. Two days after that, I called and was connected to a customer service person who, at first, told me the gloves may ship in three more days (which would be a week after I ordered them). I asked why there was a delay, did not get a straight answer until I pressed the person, and was told the gloves were back ordered and they could not promise they would be sent even in three days. The gloves were advertised as in stock and available. I canceled the order but have not received a refund as of the date of writing this review.
Failed to Deliver on Promised Date
I have been planning an outdoor trip for this very cold weekend and needed a new charger for my heated gloves. I ordered the charger from The Warming Store well in advance and was promised prompt delivery. Today I got an email from them saying they are out of stock and will not be able to deliver until after I am gone. I called and spoke to a "customer service" person who was no help at all and said they were out of stock. He asked if I wanted to cancel the order, and I said no, I wanted what I ordered and paid for!!! Why didn't they tell me they were out of stock in enough time for me to order from another company?
Do not buy...no customer service, no interest in a happy customer!

Sent 2 emails to the company "support email" with no responses. Called "888" phone # and spoke to someone, probably not in USA. Would not credit the shipping charge for failed 1-day delivery--said they don't count Sat and Sun (which is not on the website). Said there was no one to speak to at "the store". After much discussion, send return email and I have to pay return postage. Not in the customer business!!
Run from this company
Run from this company. They are happy to sell you something but as soon as you need to return they are painful to deal with. I emailed there support email 4 times over 7 days with zero follow up. The customer service here is non existent.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
When you call they will not let you speak to a manager or anyone above them. Always the same lady answering the phone and putting on hold to never speak to the boss. Incompetence at its best!! DO NOT BUY THERE CHEAP GARBAGE! Heated insoles are worthless. ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS DOWN THE TOILET.
This company is an absolute joke
This company is an absolute joke! I got heated slippers for Christmas and one of the slippers does not fully heat so I reached out via chat and was emailed and two separate times that I would get a return shipping label and never did. When I tried calling the recording said I was next in line and then a new recording message said they would return my call and I was hung up on. Mind you they never asked for my return phone number, and they never did call me back. I've reached out so many times I don't know what to do anymore. The issue I'm having is covered under warranty. I did enter a complaint on the better Business bureau site as well.

WARNING - Fraudulent activity. This business (The Warming Store) does not respond to emails and deliberately avoids addressing customer issues. I have made multiple attempts to contact them with no response or resolution. At this point, it feels intentional and deceptive.
This is not how a legitimate business operates. Consumers should stay far away — this company should not be in business. Do not buy from this company
Replacement battery and terrible customer service
I have been trying to purchase a replacement battery for my jacket for a month now. Two emails were sent and not acknowledged. I called twice and spoke with customer service representatives who were not in the least helpful. I requested to speak with a supervisor and was denied that request. The last representative (Rosanna) I spoke with told me to go on the chat and send photos (which I had already provided over email) as this was the quickest solution and she would watch for the chat. I've been waiting for a response to my chat for 28 min so far and it says "currently replying in under 55 minutes." The complete lack of customer service is appalling. If I ever get my battery, I will never do business with this company again.

I do not recommdnd this place! I ordered a boot dryer, order number 529477. It was delivered on 12/22/2025 however it does not work properly- it does not dry the boots. I requested assistance to return this product and receive a reimbursement or replacement. On the website, it states email is the best contact method. I have sent 8 emails and no response. I have tried calling 12 times. I am put on hold then the line cuts. They also ignore the Better Business Bureau. I would not recommend this company or the products they sell based on my experience.
Worst scam ever
My mother ordered gloves from the warming store on December 10 and the order was processed and she never received any gloves and the gloves were like almost $185. They never responded to any of the emails we sent to verify the order status and then I helped her request a refund via email and they never responded to that except to issue another Automated email saying that the gloves were on deck to be shipped. That’s like like a month later almost so we’re going through her credit card issuer to dispute the transaction at this point.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Took 3 weeks to get the product which eats into their crazy 30 day return policy which is the EXACT SAME for Exchange…we just wanted to get a smaller size (net neutral to them with our expense for shipping) and it was 34 days after ordering and their ‘policy’ will not allow for EXCHANGE….even if we wanted to buy a more expensive product. Totally backwards customer service. Stay away at all costs…buy elsewhere…lack of flexibility here is impossible to buy as a gift for anyone. Literally worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Received the item and it works, however it states battery last 2+ hours and only lasts 1 1/4hours. After I made this order, I began getting spam emails from all other kinds of wwarming clothing companies. So beware, they sell your information.
Leather warming Gloves
I bought a pair of leather warming gloves. The website made it clear that you need to measure hands for the correct fit, which I did. There is no advice to measure your wrist. I ordered a medium size that happened to be called open box. No description indicated anything different about this product, but it was the same price as the product that wasn't labeled as 'open box'. I got the gloves after a while, not a quick delivery, I tried on the gloves out of the box, they fit. Then I put the batteries in the pocket on the wrist and I could barely get the gloves on and could not move my wrist once I had them on. I called the company, and they said "No refund or exchange because it was a discounted price". It was not a discounted price; I paid the same price! I'm waiting for a return call from a manager. If I get a satisfactory resolution to this problem, I will update my review.

So far I am very dissatisfied with this company. I ordered a vest on December 14 and have not received any updates on when it may ship. I have emailed 3 times and called once. I have never got an email back. Now I know it’s only been 4 days but an update would be nice, and after reading these reviews I am nervous I may not even get it.
Great prices but Delivery is a joke
Great prices but VERY misleading delivery. Ordered Dec 4, claim 3-5 days delivery. It is Dec 16, item still not in stock. . Customer service is useless. They state item is available (as stated on web) "in a month or so". GO ELSEWHERE if you want item for skiing this season.
I recently got a pair of Action Heat…
I recently got a pair of Action Heat rechargeable heated indoor/outdoor boots and they are FANTASTIC! They are filled with the softest material, they feel like your feet are on clouds, the temperature is PERFECT they are never too hot, the battery pack has its own out of the way pocket on the boots. My disabled daughter has arthritis in her feet and foot drop & these boots made a huge difference in relaxing her feet to be exercised. These boots are great & I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone, these would be great for medical reasons or for just being warm and comfortable

Terrible (non existent) customer service. I've been trying to reach them for 6 weeks and have received ZERO response. I've sent multiple emails and have yet to receive a reply. When I call their "Support" line, I'm directed to an overseas call center where I'm told I need to email the company for a resolution. They will not put me in touch with someone at the physical location. Of course, those emails never receive a response. I've had to resort to initiating a refund through my credit card company.
There are plenty of reputable retailers selling these same items- I would strongly suggest you shop elsewhere.
Watch for the TAXES!
