Brought my wife a watch as a wedding anniversary present a few years ago. The battery ran out almost immediately. I wrote to Skagen via the recommneded email. I heard nothing back. I emailed again, this time I was told to answer some questions via their form. Again, I heard nothing back. I emailed mutliple times and never got any propr response. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'd highly recommend that poeple looka t alternatives when shopping for watches.

Für einen Batteriewechsel einer Skagen-Armbanduhr, muss die Uhr eingeschickt werden. Ich habe die Uhr auch nach sechs!! Wochen die Uhr immer noch nicht zurück.

Damenuhr 355SGSC mit gesprungenem Glas ans Servicecenter geschickt. Für die reparable Uhr wurde ein Rabattcode für 20% bei einer Neuanschaffung angeboten den auch sonst jeder Internetkunde bekommt. Schließlich wurde die Uhr nach Aufforderung unrepariert zurückgeschickt.
Ein anderer Uhrmacher löst das Problem.

Battery for every month seller said need repair and we don't have technician.i tried few time request for repair same excuse don't have technicians come next month

Update, August, Skagen decieded they would repair the fallen out glass for free as we found the glass that had fallen out. I am still not impressed with their attitude but grateful they saw the sense in repairing my wifes watch under warranty.

Disgusting warranty, 18 month old ladies watch, hardly warn and certainly no heavy duty work, it was a dress watch only for my wife.
The glass just popped out. SKAGEN said the warranty didn't cover the glass !!!! They wanted £65 to replace it. We found the old glass, there is NO damage signs on the case or glass.
As a result of this, I am returning my unworn Slaken watch to the shop for a refund and Skagen will loose more than 2 customers from today. To top it all, it's bought a man's Skagen watch in 2012 and used it only as a going out in the evening watch, hardly worn as I prefer my TAG Heuer watch, it suddenly stopped working, hence we bought 2 new ones recently.

DON'T BUY A SKAGEN WATCH! Looks good but doesn't work. I bought one for £81 on 30/03/24. It went wrong and I sent it for repair on 19/3/25 as they refused to give money back. Now it's gone wrong again at 13/06/25 and they still refuse to give money back again. What is the use of an unreliable watch?!!

The skagen watch I own had a pretty bad battery life and at about a year and a half it just stopped working all together. It is at least twice as thick as all others and with that comes twice as heavy. To be able to attempt to have it last almost 1 day (about 10 hours) no use at night. Loaded with fancy android interface and proprietary apps that are useless because the battery life it's not long enough to even configure it, much less use any of them.
To be able to stretch the battery I configured the options to display always off and airplane mode on to stop all wireless communications with my phone.
One again the watch is a useless gadget because the poor battery life and lack of design quality.

Jahrelang war Skagen eine meiner Lieblingsmarken, das Design ist so schön. Allerdings gibt es massive Qualitätsprobleme.
Zeiger und Ziffern gehen gerne mal ab (an verschiedenen Modellen) die Befestigung der Armbänder ist nicht lange haltbar, löst sich während des Tragens.
Und dazu kommt noch, dass Skagen Uhrbänder in so ungewöhnlichen Maßen anbringt, dass man nur die überteuerten Originalbänder kaufen kann.
Für uns überwiegt inzwischen der Ärger die Freude am schönen Design - wir kaufen keine Skagen Uhren mehr.

Benötige für meine SKAGEN Uhr eine Batterie, nur war die alte bereits entsorgt. Da ich nicht mehr wußte, welcher Typ, hab ich bei Skagen nachgefragt, unter Angabe der Modellnummer. Sollte eigentlich keine Problem sein --- dachte ich.
Zuerst bekam ich die Aufforderung, den Uhrentyp anzugegen. Hatt eich schon gemacht, was soll das.
Noch geschrieben, und nach mehrern Tagen bekam ich diesen.
Hab iide Batterie bestellt - nur passt diese leider nicht !
Hab den richtigen Typ herausgefunden, nun geht alles.
SKAGEN liest also mails nicht richtig und fragt bereits gegebene INfos nochmal nach und ist dann noch nicht einmal in den, den dafür richtigen Batterietyp anzugeben.
Das ist jämmerlich !

I bought my Skagen watch about 4years ago from H Samuel sale. Best watch I've ever bought. Great looking and great value. No problems at all, just battery change. Would definitely buy Skagen again.

Det værste Kina skrammel. Da batteriet skulle skiftes under et år fra købsdato faldt kronen af på siden . En reperation til 800 på et ur til 1200. Self ingen hjælp fra Skagen.

Watches made so you can't change the battery yourself without risk of breaking the cover glass. Repairers charge a lot to change and don't guarantee not to break the glass. So had a go myself, broke glass so had to send it off to UK Skagen repairs. They have had it since mid-December last year and keep making excuses why they haven't yet fixed it.....dreadful company - AVOID!

Viel zu teuer! Mehr schein als sein...Die Qualität zeigt sich beim ersetzen der Batterie. Einmal und nie wieder!!!

Returned a watch due to it not working when it arrived.
Being lenient due to Christmas but still waiting for a refund.
Think I'll end up going to small claims court to get my money back.
Definitely would not use again or recommend.

Der Armbandanschluss ist schlecht gemacht und geht immer wieder kaputt. Die zwei Schrauben garantieren nicht eine gute Befestigung. Gruß aus Bolivien

I've purchased a few watches from them but my last purchase, costing £149 arrived not working, presumably a flat battery. I tried emailing them several times with no response. I decided to replace the battery myself and opened the case successfully. But when removing the plastic cover inside to access the battery, the watch movement became dislodged which resulted in the hands coming off the spindle.

The quality is awful inside and it's the first time I’ve had to open one. It's shocking that they charge so much for something of poor quality. I will not be purchasing from Skagen again.

I used to like Skagen but my most recent experience with customer service and delivery is just pathetic. I will never buy from them again, if you are smart look somewhere else for a real nice watch and honest service.

I bought my Skagen watch at the Chicago airport shop nearly 20 years ago. Its smart design and ‘flat’ face appearance drew me to it and I’ve enjoyed wearing it ever since. After all that time, the leather strap wore thin on the lug ends and had to be replaced, and I found an identical strap replacement on Amazon. Not cheap but the watch is worth it.. But in all this time I haven’t even had to change the battery. Not one moment of regret in purchasing this watch. It’s great!
