The Freedom Works Group is a leading independent workspace and business support operator across the South of England, delivering workspace and support to over 5,500 companies and freelancers.
The group comprises of four companies delivering employment space with a purpose, with a real focus on being more than a roof over the head by providing support and collaboration to economies across the South.

Based on a ‘Value for Money’ pricing point for local businesses, there is a focus of repurposing old or difficult to commercialise buildings in regional towns to create energetic employment space.
Freedom Works offers an easy to access and affordable solution for freelancers, micro businesses and SME’s.
Freedom Works currently has sites in Southampton – Fairways House, Chichester – Metro House, Worthing (2 x sites – The ‘Mill Building’ and ‘The Creative & Digital Hub’), Hove – Creative Hub, Brighton – Barts House, Hastings – The Palace, Horsham – The Courtyard, Crawley – Astral Towers and Leatherhead, Fairmount House.
Formed in 2016 with an ethos of Making Work Wonderful, PLATF9RM has grown a community of over 1,000 members across Brighton & Hove. A premium workspace brand focused on wellbeing and the balance of community, events and work, PLATF9RM is a global award winner, including Best Designed Workspace and Best Community Programme at the GCUC Global Awards.
In January 2025, the Freedom Works Group acquired PLATF9RM, with plans to build on its Brighton & Hove offering and give businesses a genuine choice through two distinct workspace brands.
Freedom Works Business Support
Being ‘more than a roof over your head’ is at the core of the Freedom Works and PLATF9RM workspace proposition, so alongside working with partners like Barclays Eagle Labs the group also delivers curated business support across the community and into the local regions. The business support is delivered with a focus on practical business support, delivered by local providers who have ‘been there and got the t-shirt’ and with a focus on ensuring there is a legacy rather than a cliff edge of traditional programmes.
The benefit of our business support division is that we have access to over 5,500 businesses in the South, access to space across multiple sites and locations and embedded relationships with local business networking groups, such as chambers of commerce and other business members organistations.
