Important announcement about my Patreon's future
a year ago
General
Since last month I noticed a significant and constant decrease in my Patreon subscriptions, I didn't know the reason until I found out what it was, is something that is beyond my control and some of you may already know >>
It affected my income from Patreon more than I expected, and after thinking and overthinking about it, I realize that all of this isn't as bad as it sounds.
Honestly, in the last months I have been bearing with some burnout, I have so little or even no free time at all while trying to keep on with the Patreon stuff, YCHS, and commissions pics, all along the little free time RL has spared me lately.
I realized that isn't that worth keeping Patreon up anymore, all the energy I put into it, I could use it for making another kind of content, more YCHS or comms, and even personal stuff now and then.
So I came out with a decision and this is what is going to happen with my Patreon:
-Tomorrow 15, I'll post the Patreon's main pic for August,
-On August 28 I'll post the bonus sketches for the month.
-On September 15, I'll post the last Patreon pic.
-On September 16, I'll take out all the subscription options except for the tipping one which will grant access to all the content posted on my Patreon.
-Starting in October I'll begin to slowly release all the content I made for Patreon so far month by month.
I am not sure what will happen to my comic SOD, I do have the intention to continue it, but it takes me a bunch of time to produce each page, and without Patreon, it will take me even more time to produce a new page... I am considering the idea of adding an option of a 3 USD subscription level for those who'd like to support the comic, so I could produce a new page faster, but I haven't decided about it yet, and I don't think I'll put that option anytime soon or if I'll ever do >>
Last, to all the Patreons who have supported me so far, all of you have no idea how thankful I am for all your support, starting from those who gave me tips, and especially those who stayed loyal for so long, my deepest apologies to all of you, but I just cannot keep on with it, it's not healthy.
I honestly feel like thanks to this decision and opportunity I'll be able to draw more calmly, take some proper rests now and then, and soon boost and improve my artwork skills to make better content for all of you.
Welp, I think this all is for the best in the end ;3

Just take your time and do not overdo yourself. Doing such overdoing is among many things that make artists suffer burnouts.
