Yeah, though I've spent so long worrying about how rule changes will screw me on this site, I'm kinda glad to be rid of the pain(Oh the joys of being an adult artist on FA). As for backups, It's something I'm working on sorting out. I've got some ideas, but I will have to spend some time mirroring my galleries to other sites, so it may be a bit.

I'll be honest as I read the changes and got to the expanded section about minor depictions (and the lack of any conditions on age which basically wraps around to your work), your art was the first I had a sinking feeling about. I'm sorry to see this is what it's come to, and I already follow you in other spaces but FurAffinity's always been meant to be a town square of sorts. And that square's getting less certain as we go.

Just know that policy or no, your work's appreciated and valued.

Yeah... I'll give them some credit, blanket bans on Mater/Adult rated images containing minors is very easy to inforce... They just get a lot of other stuff in the crossfire, and somehow that always ends up being me. My SFW account was supposed to be a place I didn't have to worry about getting fucked over by section 2.7, but I guess the universe was out to spite me. I did confirm it with staff, and that is how the rule works. FA has made it abundantly clear that I am not welcome in this particular town square.

What had to get removed in this instance anyway?

The fanart of Endling is the primary example. The one with the kits morning their dead momma. There were a few other images that featured death/gore in some way, that also happened to have a minor present. So they were marked as mature under the violence part of section 1.1. Section 2.7 says that images marked as mature cannot have minors.

Yeah, they really didn’t think that one through. I wouldn’t have seen those since my filters are set to general.
I’m particularly troubled by the body part one since something like a kitten playing with its tail would potentially be disallowed under that.

I'm very disappointed to hear this development but I understand your reasoning for this decision. Are there any pages (aside from InkBunny) that you intend on going to? I hope it's not DA, as they hide everything behind a pay wall.

Definitely not DA, if I can avoid it. I technically have a gallery there, but the site has been being fussy with postybirb, so its starting to fall out of date.

That sucks. It’s a shame website jannies aren’t known for their sense of nuance. Hope I can continue to enjoy your work wherever you move to.
