You voted and the results are in, the Next FWO will take place over 5 days this time, June 30 - July 4.
While I try to avoid scheduling during major conventions, this one will take place during Anthrocon (would love to see someone join from there) and while were sorry that some of you may not be able to join us, that's part of why I created Furry Weekend Omegle.
FWO from its beginning was intended to be an online convention for those of us who for one reason or another can't attend conventions, a way for us to have some fun and social interaction. So to those of you going to Anthrocon or other events, go be social, have fun, we'll still be here having our own little convention.

I mean not every Australian and potentially British fur went to any of those cons as they couldn't afford to go you know. And I'm sure these 2 were in the same weekend as each other so hint hint.
The current rough schedule for FWO events is around the middle or last weekends in March, June, September and December. That schedule allows for the March and September events to usually avoid major cons and the June and December events coincide with Anthrocon and MFF, the two largest furry conventions.
Another reason for holding it near/over AC and MFF is just the sheer number of attendees those two cons have. Between the two, they make up 27% of the total number of attendees from the top 20 furry conventions and 21% of the top 50. Being on social media and seeing all the pics and things from the conventions, especially high amounts during AC and MFF, and feeling left out is one reason I started FWO.
Best I try, there are going to be furs that are alone during cons or can't make a particular FWO. It's the old trying to please everyone only leads to no one being pleased. If you're looking for something to do during a con, organize an outing with local furs, join a telegram chat, be creative. That's what I did when I created FurryWeekendOmegle, and who knows what might happen.
