"Dear Freedom Lake Park Furs,
Due to orders of Florida there will not be any more meets this year, but we did promise more information about future meets. Specifically that of the one day that looms ever closer. As Calliope's voyage in the future will lead to new lands you furs have been asking about what will become of FLPF.
If the virus subsides and we can go out again, July will be the last meet of FLPF. We've both agreed that seven years is quite a good run for the meet and as a team I, Thomas (aka Candorian) would have difficulty running things by myself or honestly with another person. To those that know my flaws, you understand why.
Though this is quite sad for both of us I am reminded that endings can lead to new beginnings. My hopes, though FLPF will end, that a new group can rise. With 4 months until the official closing that if some brave souls wish to rise up that maybe we could share some wisdom to help along with a new group for furs.
In memory of one speech Calliope gave many birthdays ago, "the meets would not exist without you" and with you the torch must be passed."
