The Lord of Flies, Beezlebub. His name derived from a Philistine god, formerly worshipped in Ekron, and later adopted by some Abrahamic religions as a major demon. The name Beelzebub is associated with the Canaanite god Baal. Often used as another for the Devil or Satan. I wanted to depict him as an actual insect, primarily orange the colour of Gluttony. I gave him a scepter to show his lordly nature but also a turkey leg to show he's all about dat food. xp

"Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you."
