Do you think that tenna would still go around as Annet after he comes clean to the mikes?

Probably! He’ll have made a few new friends (and possibly some enemies) as Annet by that time. And he likes the new perspective it gives him on his employees. It’s actually kind of nice to not be treated as the boss all the time

I think it would also depend on how many other people know or figure out that Annet & Tenna are one in the same. On one hand, he kind of enjoys being on a more even level with his employees. On the other hand, he’s also much more vulnerable as a Pippins, and without the authority he has as Tenna he probably wouldn’t want to wander around like that without someone else there to protect him. Lots of people have grudges against Tenna if they had figured it out, and if they haven’t there’s still a few of his employees that have a prejudice against Pippins

He’s beginning to understand why most Pippins travel in packs. And also kicking himself for letting his own biases trickle down to his employees

Dice Haul!

Went out Christmas shopping at a Tabletop Game & Book store earlier and found a bunch of cool dice, so I decided to get a few as a present for myself in addition to the stuff I got for family & friends

Here’s my new dice sets!

KITTY-THEMED SHINY MATH ROCKS!

The second I saw these I knew I had to have them. They’re a deep purple with shiny gold lettering, and small gold sparkles scattered throughout. It makes it look kind of like a space nebula

All of the highest number faces on each die has a cat in a different pose on it. Several of the sides also have kitty pawprints on them. The 3, 6, and 9 sides on each die that has them have them number surrounded by a ball of yarn

I love the cat ears they put on the numbers, they’re so cute!

Also, look at the 8-side of the D12! That’s adorable!

I also found a translucent set that had each color of the rainbow that I bought. I like the way the light bounces off of them

I love the colors! They’re also very smooth and feel nice in my hands. I like the noise they make when they clack together

Last purchase for myself was a dice bag to put them all in

Soft velvety material with stars and nebulas on it. I think the marketing name on the package was Celestial. I thought it went well with my kitty dice

When it opens it has this hexagonal flower shape inside of it so you can sort various dice sets. Thought it looked really cool. It’s super soft too

Couple of honorable mentions that I didn’t have enough money left over to buy, but are definitely going on my Christmas list under the cut

An abstracted view of a desolate looking dark world of cliffs with boardwalks. There is narration: "The couch cliffs, how purple and majestic they were. The dusty, the empty, such are the worlds such as those. Ooo la la... The purple worlds, you think they give the creeps." The Dreemurrs are moving into their newly bought home. "Tsk... You have seen naught but that tempered by light," the narration continues.

Asgore wheels in a cart with three boxes on it, notably one containing a CRT TV on the bottom. "Oh Asgore," Toriel says, "It is already starting to feel like home here!" "Ah... it truly is! We've got just-" Asgore huffs, "A few boxes to go... Rudy really wasn't lying about Carol being generous with the size of this thing..." he trails off. "Careful now, dear," Toriel replies. Asgore tilts the cart forward to put the boxes on the floor. "Ah, of course... I wouldn't dream of dropping such a lovely gift! And after all of this... I think we've earned a rest, have we not?" He reaches for the CRT box and begins to open it.

Toriel joins Asgore in lifting the tube TV. "What a perfect spot for you to call home..." she remarks. Asgore plugs it in. "Looks like this baby's got power! Now lets wake you on up..." He presses the power button at the front only to be met with static. "Ah... But we haven't got signal." Toriel brings out the remote accompanying the TV. "Well, we do live somewhere pretty remote!" she snickers. "...We must not forget to set up the antenna," she says, handing a box containing a matching antenna set for the TV over to Asgore. "Bahaha-- I suppose that's true!"

"This should help..." Asgore mutters as he pulls the antenna set out of the box, and starts to set it up. With a view into another world, a CRT monitor sits alone on the ground. Asgore plugs the antenna into the back of the CRT. The TV awakens, "There we go, it is working!" Toriel exclaims. Beginning to receive signal, the TV seems to gain a body in the other world.

The TV has been given a humanoid form in the dark world, curled in a fetal position against a deep background. "You should thank Tenna for brightening everything up."

Waking from his stupor, the TV's body, made of static, reacts to the new sensory input from the antennas. A mouth begins to form on his face.

He finds himself in the dark, sitting on a boardwalk. Below, an audience of dark figures gathers. Curious about the new being, they begin climbing up the deck, much to the TV's surprise. He begins backing away as a softly lit hand reaches for him among the smaller, darker hands of his new audience.

He feels the light hand touch the top of his head, and suddenly a beam of light appears in his world - a spotlight. A passing conversation is heard in the world above. "What do we want to watch?" someone mutters, beginning to change the channel with the remote "So many possibilities..." In the dark world, a zapper appears next to the TV, newly summoned in. They approach the TV, startling him and causing his screen "fuzz" to stand on end. "You there! Oh, sorry for scaring yous. But..." they point back towards the spotlight. "I thinks the lightners are waiting for you. Yous better hurry," it explains. The passing conversation in the light world continues "Hoho! Turn the channel back, that one!" a deeper voice exclaims. "Oh yes, you are right, that one is perfect!" the partner says in response. In the dark world, the TV cocks its head. "Light... ners? They... want..." it looks towards the light. "...Me?"

The TV looks deep into the spotlight above him, perceiving a warm presence that seems to speak directly to him: "Ah there we are! You work like a charm... Now... Let's see what you've got to show us today!" He steps back in shock. "'You'"-- he quotes. "They're talking to me?!" he stammers, screen flushing to pink. He turns towards his crowd, and the zapper reassures him, "They're countin' on you up there!" With not much choice left, the TV steps towards the spotlight. "Ah... Well.... Then I suppose it would be rude to delay any longer."

Reaching into the spotlight, the TV begins to change - he is now wearing a sleek black tuxedo, and finds himself holding a hat and cane. "Oh... Oh my... What's this that you've given me...?" he muses, placing the hat on top of his head. "I... think I get it. You're giving me a home, right here... Letting me take up the center stage..."

"A spotlight, your light... Just- just for me...!" the TV ponders as he walks, following in step with the spot light. The metal plates on the bottoms of his tap shoes click against the floor. "Well then, folks, if this is what you've asked for.... "Then let this SHOW begin!" he announces with a smile and an open posture.

He dances across the board walk, screen glowing brightly as he beams. He ends off with a flourish and slides onto the ground, proudly holding up his cane and hat.

Looking into the spotlight, he sees them - the two that put him here - as they laugh on the couch across from him. They smile, hands interlocked, emulating the dancing from the channel they were watching. The TV looks up shyly with their faces reflected on his.

He brings his hands to his face, glowing pinker. "They... They're smiling! Smiling because of... ME!" As he pulls his hands away, it reveals that he has gained fangs into his smile to match the Dreemurrs. "Oh, who am I kidding of course they are, I-- I was made for this! They need me!" he exclaims. "You've given me a lovely home... a beautiful outfit... and... A... Purpose. A part to play..." He takes a bow. "Oh dear viewers, If I keep you all entertained, then I'll have played my part well!"

"In the once upon a time, there was a land like purple cliffs. A frozen waste, watery basin, a metal desert." Three abstracted dark worlds and their accompanying light world locations of the fridge, the sink, and the stove respectively, appear as the narration dictates.

A large atrium with a view into a tall TV themed city above pans down to a stage, lit by four spotlights, with the TV - Tenna - at its center. "But this theatre was built upon that..."

"And, it grew," the narration continues. A collection of snapshots across studio history appear - Tenna broadcasting with the weather, him checking on his production team, catching pippins gambling in the backroom, and him meeting Ramb - accompany a sprawl of polaroid photos in the background capturing the Dreemurr's home life.

In the studio just beyond the stage, Tenna begins briefing his workers and is approached by a zapper. "Excuse me, Mr. Tenna? We gots some company in da Green Room." Tenna turns to face them. "Oh? Visitors? Is it already playtime?" he inquires before being struck with fear. "Shoot, SHOOT! We need to clean up this MESS!" he points out to his workers. "Places everyone, PLACES!" In the light world, Noelle who is holding a laptop is brought to the Dreemurr house by her mom. Kris sits on the floor surrounded by dice, playing cards, a power strip, collectable figures, and is holding crayons and drawing on paper.

Shown in the background is Kris and Noelle beginning to play with their toys - the laptop and the power strip respectively. In the dark world, two zappers hold the Green Room doors open as the laptop - Queen - enters the studio, bringing the denizens of Cyber City with her. She is followed by Swatch and Spade King. Tenna giddily waves. "Why, hello and welcome to our lovely guests! What a surprise to see you all here today--" he begins, before promptly being passed by the visiting group. Queen, glass of acid in hand, responds: "Hey TV Guy / Looks Like The Party's Moving Over Here LOL / Nice To See You (/true) / TTYL." Tenna seems particularly confused at the acronym before nervously shrugging it off. "Ah- Ahaha! Of course, I'm so HAPPY you've all made yourselves feel right at HOME in our humble little studio! That's, cool! I'll just find-- someone! To chat with." He begins going around the room, deciding against talking to Spade King, trying (and failing) to converse with Swatch, Queen, and Ramb, and finds himself alone at the center of the room. "Haha... ah! Tough crowd today, folks," he says, tugging at his collar as steam billows out of his vents. Amidst the crowd, a black and white bespectacled salesman approaches.

The salesman calls out, "Hey you, BIG GUY!" but is drowned out by Tenna's thoughts, appearing abstracted like smoke from his vents as he begins to silently spiral. The salesman cups a hand to his mouth, "Can ya even hear me u there, big fella?" he wonders, before looking down and noticing the cable leading from the back of Tenna's head to the floor- his tail - and hums to himself in thought. Tenna begins to clutch his head before being jostled from his spiral by a yank to the cord at the back of his head, face appearing as color bars for a moment before he looks down at the offender who beams smugly up at him, holding the end of his tail. "Hey BUDDY! I think ya mighta left something down here! Today's your LUCKY day friend, cuz I'm feeling mighty generous-- I'll give this on back to ya for the low low price of FREE-- IF!!! Ya could help a guy out and tell me who the big boss round here is!" he prattles.

Tenna leans down, taking his tail back from the stranger. "Well, well, little guy! Aren't you quite the BOLD one! I'll tell ya, you're talking to 'em right now! ...And who, might you be?" he questions the smaller man. "Haha, nice to be meetin' ya then, Mr. Head Honcho! I'll say, I'm a bit of a... BIG SHOT back where I'm from. The name is..." it trails off. The narration continues. "... Not everyone liked the change." Toriel is seen in one panel carrying a box of toys, books, and games to be donated. "Some people left." A group of darkners, notably including the darkners from Card Kingdom, march on into the dark. Kris, Susie, and Ralsei appear before Shuttuh in TV world. "Of course..." it appears to say, holding out a greyed polaroid featuring Tenna and the salesman shaking hands, signed at the bottom with "Ant Tenna" and "S.G.S." and a note of "to the start of something new!" scrawled at the bottom. "That was in the days of the black-and-white"

disappears for 4 months. comes back covered in blood or whatever and drops a 22 page comic. hiiiii whats uppp guyyyys remember when I said you'd likely see more tenna around here at some point. here he is!!!!! drawn to that one dialogue from shuttuh bc i couldn't get it out of my brain. some yapping under the read more if you want some more info!

Ok I had some Pippins related stuff I was working on but my wrist was hurting so I decided to finish that later and just take it easy for the rest of the day.

I still wanted to do something for dice day though, so I thought it might be fun to gather some Battat drawings I've done since the very first time I drew him! I mostly wanted to see the progression and yeeeah there's definitely been improvement and changes over time LOL, but it's funny how some things have stayed the same. Wild to look at the first few Battats though... who is that guy? Why does he look like that...

This isn't even all the Battat art I've done LMAO, but all of these are drawings I've posted (minus the last one in December, that's the wip I was working on) so I've included a list to the OG posts below the cut if you wish to see the full piece of a specific drawing :D

Anyways, it's almost over but happy national dice day! Can you tell that I like Battat lol
