bmurator Australian Dark Ambient / Post-Rock Instrumental. This speaks... :) There are no words but it speaks & is incredibly eloquent too! There is an almost hidden darkness here that really appeals to me - much like life - people play at being happy but they rarely truly are! An amazing album & if this is a debut, the future certainly is bright & I look forward to it... :) I see a short EP already... :) Thanks Geomancer! It is not really possible to pick a fave yet! Highly recommended!!!

Sharoyko Andrey Disturbing and melancholic, this album starts off indie and gradually becomes more rock-oriented. Favorite track: Moonshot.

about

This is the debut post rock album from three piece Australian post rock band Geomancer.

A concept album documenting humanity's expansion into the stars, culminating in an apocalyptic battle against a sentient intergalactic machine race - heavily inspired by the concepts of the Dark Forest theory and Bezerker Hypothesis. Largely concieved after reading the 3 "Remembrance of Earth's Past" books by Cixin Liu.

Recorded and produced in Adelaide, Australia at Hardman Studios.
Additional mixing/mastering by Kat Aquino (Los Angeles) and Martino Dessi (Berlin).
