I'm a stay-at-home dad and lifelong tinkerer, currently obsessed with Nix OS and Nix Flakes. My homelab is my playground—I've got Proxmox humming along with a bunch of VMs and LXCs, and I self-host things like Mastodon and Forgejo just for fun.
I've been messing with Linux since I was 14 (I'm 42 now), and I still love exploring new tech. These days, you'll find me running macOS on my laptop, iOS on my phone, and Linux pretty much everywhere else.
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005 with a degree in Information Science. What really drives me is using technology to make life easier—delivering the right info, to the right people, at the right time. I enjoy building little tools and automations that streamline everyday tasks.
