Before using MobileOrg, please read its section in the org-mode documentation.

Set up the location of your org-files by configuring and running ‘org-mobile-push’ in emacs.
Important NOTE If you are a Windows user, you will need to have md5sum.exe or sha1sum.exe in your system path before org-mobile-push will succeed.
You can use MobileOrg from Locale or Tasker by looking under their Plugins sections. These will be available immediately after MobileOrg is installed.
Once you have finished with the initial setup, consider setting up Android Calendar Support
When you first start MobileOrg you will be presented with a setup Wizard. You can use this wizard to set up any of the basic Synchronizers:
- WebDAV
- Dropbox
- SSH/SCP
- SD Card
- No Synchronization (Capture Only)

After setting up your synchronizer you will be presented with the main screen:
From here you can choose to run the synchronizer for the first time, visit the application’s preferences screen to set up any extra options (See Application Settings, or capture a new note.
Many of MobileOrg’s features can be enabled or configured from the application’s preference menu. To explore the options available here visit the following page:

After synchronizing for the first time your screen should now look like this
From here you can click on nodes and drill down into the hierarchy. Long clicking on a node will bring up a context menu:
You can choose to Edit the node or view it in document mode
Clicking the android “Menu” button will bring up an action menu:
Nodes will display tags and todo states:
Capturing a note and editing a note look alike and allow you to set tags and todo states, as well as a node title and body text:
Clicking on the text area will let you modify or create node content in this buffer:
Pressing the Android “Search” button or the application’s search button under the “Menu”.
Results will display in a new list
