Add a display option to blink the LEDs on the front of the Alcatel MW43. Add a "dummy" display option for devices that may lack a screen or LEDs.
Unlock the Alcatel MW43 over SCSI via the linux SG_IO ioctl. This is an unsafe implementation that only works on 64-bit linux.
