This is a test repository.

Simple REST API perfom CRUD operation of Fruits.

1. Gin
2. MongoDB
3. Gin-Swagger

Create a local mongo container on host network. You can use the following command

docker run -d -p 27017:27017 --name example-mongo mongo:latest

Run using go run ./main.go

Update MongoURI in .env file to change mongoURI path.

Use mongo-express to check database locally. Docker compose adds it by default. In kubernetes deplyment manifests, mongo-express can be uncommented for development purpose.

docker compose up -d

kubectl apply -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sachin2605/cast0r/main/manifest.yaml

visit Swagger UI on localhost at http://localhost:8080/swagger/index.html (in local)
