I am a software engineer building hard-tech products in the open, scalable systems in resource-constrained environments, and sustaining open-source communities for a decade. I was recognized as a GitHub Star in 2025.
At balena, we built Leviathan, an open-source e2e hardware automation jig to test embedded operating systems directly on edge devices, drastically improving reliability and fast-tracking OS release cycles from 6 weeks to 3 hours, saving tens of thousands of dollars.
Learning as I go, I have worn multiple hats at work and excel at working in uncertain, challenging scenarios.
Apart from my full-time commitment, I run Mixster, an initiative to enable startups to "right" their docs, document their engineering culture, and create scalable content pipelines from scratch. Mixster is made up of engineers who love writing docs.
Offline, I volunteer to put together PyCon India as Content Lead, OpenHiL for hardware in the loop developers, run a 3000+ members student community ALiAS to mentor early stage developers, and organize GitHub's GitTogether India community. Read more about my communities.
I am a documentarian in life too and have been documenting my life, work, and travel extensively. I strongly believe in ownership, eliminating problems, and radical candor (friends don't let friends be wrong). I also believe in trying a cheesecake in every place I visit.
