Thank you for your submission but depending on your team, it is often a good idea to check in the .vscode file so that all of the members share the same settings. There is a discussion about this here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/32964920/should-i-commit-the-vscode-folder-to-source-control

Feel free to set up your projects how it makes sense for you and your team. But for this project, I prefer to keep it checked in.
