This API endpoint is required for the dataset creation page in the SPA, for selecting the host collection, although it may be useful for other use cases as well.

Just a heads up that @abujeda and @davidverdu just demoed code this morning in https://github.com/IQSS/ondemand-loop for the same use case (show me where I can create datasets) using the MyData API:
