Combobox does not trigger form onChange event

As user I would expect that combobox triggers the form on Change event.

When I change selection of combobox it triggers form on Change event.

When used in the form no native events are triggered.

Thanks, I can see it now.
I replaced the native select with our own Picker and noticed that Picker also doesn't trigger the onChange. It may exist in our other input components as well.

To clarify, the onChange event does fire as you type in the text field, but not when you select an option from the list. This is the native behavior of <input> elements – programmatic changes such as when clicking an option do not emit events.

We can emit our own change events in this case. But what would the expected behavior be? With the default formValue="key", the selected key is actually what is submitted to the server (using a hidden input), and this does not change as you type. So would we emit change events only when the selected key changes and not as the user types? Or would we keep the native change events as you type and emit additional ones when selecting an option?
