[How To] - Sync Play State with Guest Plex Home Account #682

Hi, I have a PMS with an admin account that has lifetime plex pass that i use for admin purposes only and a managed account under plex home that i use to watch all my media. WatchState currently backs up that managed accounts play/watch state. I however have now created a new plex account (to enable plex discovery) and invited it to my plex home and wish to sync my current watch/play state with this new account. The issue is im struggling with the process to do it, as im only ever getting the account option of my main admin account to sync to. |

Hello, You should be able to see the invited account in sub-users page provided you have added your main plex account x-plex-token. It should show like this

ok thanks i dont have an groups configured so ive just tried and when i try to add a second account to the group i get this error |

You are correct. you can only have one user from each backend in group. You are meant to add different users accounts for each group you shouldn't add two users from same backend to same group. |

ah ok i get you, the issue is, all mine are listed against How do i sync (or one time export/import) between two accounts on the same Plex server? |

You would add it as separate backend. And use that account token |
