goLive is a simple bash script tool that creates iOS 18 Live Photos with Live Wallpaper support using a MOV video file as input. The script processes the video, resizing it as needed, and generates a Live Photo that can be used as a Live Wallpaper on iOS 18.

To use goLive, you need to install the following dependencies:

Install libheif:
brew install libheif

Install ExifTool:
brew install exiftool

Install ImageMagick:
brew install imagemagick

Install GPAC (MP4Box):
brew install gpac

Install FFmpeg/FFprobe:
brew install ffmpeg
Once the tool is set up, use the following command to create a Live Photo from your MOV video:
- Copy your MOV video to
input
directory and name itinput.mov
. - Run the following command:
bash /path/to/goLive.sh
- Once process finished, navigate to
output
directory and grabIMG_XXXX.HEIC
andIMG_XXXX.mov
. - Use
AirDrop
,iCloud
, or similar tools to transfer files to your iPhone Photos App.
