I needed to make an additional change because the default host specified by ServiceOptions is www.googleapis.com. This causes batch requests to use the global batch endpoint which no longer works.

This breaks in this PR because the discovery changed the root url to dns.googleapis.com with batch path batch/. The combination of ServiceOption's default host + the batch path from the DNS apiary client built the former global batch endpoint.
