It would be great to add additional instructions about how to run the kind cluster.
Seems the make test-kind
requires a cluster named kind
.

Sure, added a hint to install kind
first. The default cluster name should be also 'kind'.

Add a hint that there is already a make target for local testing in a kind cluster. It is just a small thing but makes it easier for future contributors to get started.
