Roland UA-1G — "Can not found a device" Error #291

Description

My Roland / Cakewalk UA-1G is showing up in the mod tools as "UA-1G", and the device is working as my output right now (just for testing, I had no 48kHz speaker options until my speakers JUST arrived today, but not hooked up yet). In game, I'm told the Real Tone Cable is not plugged in repeatedly. My audio interface is able to record in Audacity just fine.

Oddly, I have no divers I can install manually for this, the official site says they'll be downloaded automatically when plugged in, and it sets up the device when plugged into a new port as expected. The device also has a physical "Advanced Driver" switch on it, which I have recently put to off, as that seemed to be required to get 48kHz audio (the back had 5 physical switches with a diagram explaining them), and something I came across online said Advanced Driver had to be off for those settings to matter, but I'm unsure. That said, it does now show up as 48kHz, my output works, etc.

Not sure what to try at this point, but I'm open to try! Will keep experimenting while I await any suggestions you may have, will report back if I learn anything substantial.
