Added

  • Checkpointing for the SMC samplers
  • New arguments in Sampler.sample to handle checkpointing
  • Aspire.auto_checkpoint method for automatic checkpointing

Changes

  • Add infer_device and safe_to_device to avoid issues with ill-defined devices when using e.g. jax
  • MiniPCNSMC no longer inherits from NumpySMC
  • No longer save calls to sample_posterior by default when calling save_config
