Hi, The site manager reference means that only site manager can decide to add the dashlet to their site, since they have the ability to configure the site dashboard. However, the dashlet itself (queries etc) can only be used by repository administrators, as it always has been, since the repository audit API only allows administrators to query audit data. Does this make it clearer ? |
Please re-open if you need additional info. |
README has been updated following your comment, and a new release (0.53) has been created those includes the README changes. |
I see what you are saying. Only administrators can use this dashlet because the audit API only allows administrators to query audit data. We have managers that want to know when an document is deleted (the idea being able to monitor even those with permission to delete) so I thought we could use this custom dashlet. Nevertheless, this is a good tool to view the audit data from an interface level. Thanks. |
The audit dashlet can only be used by an administrator, but the readme states a site manager can use the dashlet. Is the dashlet working as designed and the readme not updated correctly? Or visa versa?
Thanks, Mike T
