use json-server as a lib from an express server

I'd like to include json-server in an express application, for example on an /api/endpoint

Is it possible to sue json-server as a lib inside another project?

Right now, I just want to also serve a few static files (a spa app) from the same server, but I think that there might be many use cases for such a feature
