hi yt team,
aryan this side while watching videos on YouTube--- lectures, or movie scenes—users may accidentally click or drag on the timeline (time bar), causing them to lose their exact watch position.
There is currently no built-in way to undo this action and restore the previous timestamp.
Suggested Feature:
Implement a Ctrl + Z shortcut (or C + Z on macOS) to undo the last seek on the time bar.
Behavior:
If the user accidentally clicks or drags on the timeline, they can press Ctrl + Z to go back to the previous position.
Why This Feature Is Important
Saves time during tutorials, coding videos, or lectures when exact positioning matters.
Reduces frustration from unintentional time jumps.
Mimics familiar behavior of "undo" found in most apps, making it intuitive.
