There are a growing number of bands in the shoegaze-influenced alt-rock scene right now, and few are doing it better than Glare. It has the dreamy, ethereal shimmer. It has the early 2000s alt-metal riffs. It has all the tone and texture you want from an album like this. I'm going to be surprised if this isn't my personal favorite shoegaze release of 2025. Texas forever.
