the other thing with timeframes in kh is that master’s defender apparently has the power to like. raise/transform an entire building in an instant. it probably didn’t take that long either to build khml scala or to remodel it to khdr scala. the city seems a lot older than it is bc they used Magic to make all that grand architecture happen
kingdom hearts kinda goes the opposite direction of your typical fantasy world’s issue of adding too many zeroes onto the end of the number of years ago a great historical event happened (aka ‘girl that was not 10000 years ago that you had this advanced tech and the world has barely changed since then’) because the keyblade war is considered to be ancient. in reality the events of khux were seemingly only about 500 years ago. insane
the way we think about the tale of daybreak town as the beginning of the timeline but then the master of masters casually alludes to like. A Whole Lot Of History Before That. and we have no other knowledge of that time other than the vague words of a known liar. i’m insane
