Kelenken and Macrauchenia illustration for a 3-part prehistoric project. This is the Miocene piece.
Went with a moose-like nose for the Macrauchenia since I rarely see it depicted, as opposed to a trunk. Had a lot of fun with the colors for this!

2 Page digital painting spread ft. @Laelaps as part of a project for illust. studio! The prompt was to emulate an editorial piece that would precede an article with someone who inspires you. Riley does amazing work in Paleontology literature and you should check out her books!

+ Close-ups of some background elements. I focused on animals from the Morrison Formation for this piece, including Allosaurus, Apatosaurus, Koparion, Kepodactylus, and a few small ornithischians.
