My name is Rami. I’m 20 years old from Gaza.

Our home in northern Gaza was destroyed by airstrikes 💔. We ran under fire 🔥, leaving everything behind. Since then, we’ve been displaced seven times — from the north to Khan Younis, to Rafah, to Deir al-Balah, back to tents ⛺ in the north, again to the south, and now in western Gaza.

Each place we go, we carry only fear 😔, exhaustion 😞, and the hope of survival 🙏. We sleep in tents, with no electricity ⚡, no clean water 🚱, no safety 🚫. We wake up to more uncertainty every day.

We lost our home, our stability, and the life we once knew 💔. But we haven’t lost our will to live 💪.

We just want to be safe 🕊️. We want to live with dignity 🏠. We want the world to know what we’re going through 🌍.

They said “ceasefire” so the world would stop paying attention. But Gaza is still being bombed. Nothing has changed.

The way we stopped hearing or seeing media about Palestine, and there are new types of bombs being dropped in a ceasefire

My friend Zeina from Gaza is an example of this painful silence. She has endured two years of continuous suffering, and today she and her family have no home to shelter them, nor a school where she can continue her education. They remain displaced in tents, waiting for reconstruction that has yet to begin, facing the cold of winter with bodies exhausted by fear and hunger.
