• It is kinda funny how much, despite shipping sukugo, i ignore all the power scaling like bro i sincerely dont care. I dont have an opinion on who’s stronger between the two of them. It literally doesn’t matter. All that matters to me is that they’re close enough in strenght for them to see each other differently than literally all other sorcerers. And that societally they were treated the same because of their power, both considered monsters. Thats what you care about, not who won, because we all know if Gege wasnt a coward Sukuna would either eat Gojo’s body out of love after the battle or they would have married on the spot. Doesnt matter. They’re equal enough for the whole thing to straight up be decided by chance, be free from powerscaling. Who cares. What’s important is just how many hours do you think Sukuna’s wedding vows take

  • ok but imagine how erotic it would be if Gojo had returned in his own body and Sukuna is in his true form and kills Gojo again

maybe this time his guard never slips either. all he can do is watch as it happens, inevitably.

  • Gojo, waking up seeing that Sukuna brought him back (immediately rejection sensitive): why didn't you eat me? :(

  • and then Sukuna saves Gojo’s life again ☝️ by transferring into him

  • Speaking of Sukuna’s defeat, this scene was funny as hell cuz it literally started like this:

    image
    image

Sukuna copying Gojo’s technique AND his hand sign, Yuji pointing it out and saying GOJO’S name, Sukuna noticing Yuji's missing RING FINGER, only to IMMEDIATELY & OMINOUSLY cut to Sukuna’s ring finger, looking like a butterfly caught in a spider’s web. like........ Gojo was haunting Sukuna’s narrative sooo baaad it was comical.

The only thing missing was Sukuna saying some cliché villain-in-mourning line here:

    image

Something like, “Gojo Satoru… even now, you still—” asdfgjkkjfffgjjj Because that's EXACTLY what it was, wasn't it????

It was Gojo outsmarting him from BEYOND the grave. And it was so FUCKING SEXY ARGHHH

  • this got me thinking even more about Sukuna’s healing ability

and how Gojo’s body was confiscated right after that slice

if Ui Ui hadn’t shown up, then I still wonder if Sukuna would have brought him back.

like, maybe it would have been difficult — Maybe Sukuna would have needed to transfer into him as a vessel, to make it work, especially if so much time had passed.

idk man I rly thought there was foreshadowing that’s how jjk was going to end, w Gojo as Sukuna’s vessel, but…

the fact that Yuuji was dead enough for Choso to feel that transformation and realize they were brothers…

Just convinces me even more that was possible.

But Sukuna was proud of Gojo, thought he had a satisfying death, and maybe would have honored that, resisted the temptation to being him back.

but also, imagine if halfway through the fight w all those other sorcerers, Sukuna just… got so bored that he left Fushiguro and transferred into Gojo. Maybe as a gamble with his own life as well.

AND THEN Gojo would finally be able to realize that he reached Sukuna….

  • We don’t talk enough about the beauty of Sukuna killing Gojo in the snow.

December 24th, the equivalent of Valentine’s night, becomes a twisted, violent consummation. It is the night lovers meet under falling snow, where loneliness either ends or deepens forever. Killing Gojo in the snow turns the fight into a ritual where a lover buries his beloved with his own hands in the quietest season of the year.

In Japanese cinema and manga, falling snow is a natural shroud, mourning from the sky, a funeral carried out by nature, a death tragic yet beautiful and unforgettable. The sky itself is performing the funeral Sukuna will not allow himself to hold.

Winter strips away all that is unnecessary. In that moment, Sukuna is painfully human.

“I’ll never forget you as long as I live” is a vow, an eternal winter inside him. Gojo’s death freezes Sukuna’s heart. He will carry that season forever. Gojo becomes his internal December 24th, his only admitted attachment.

Snowfall at someone’s death symbolizes the extinguishing of warmth. The cold exposes what warmth meant. The warmth Gojo brought into Sukuna’s existence, the spark he ignited, buried by Sukuna himself.

  • thinking about Gojo raising the ten shadows kid as his own executioner

like Gojo's all. hi, I killed your dad and someday we'll kill each other too!

and he thinks it's the greatest fucking honor. and Fushiguro is just like 😒 that's fucking stupid

but he goes along with it as an obligation for Tsumiki. otherwise that guy does not give a FUCK

  • AND THEN (manga spoilers) Gojo gets to fight Sukuna. He was sooo excited for this from the first episode.

and when it finally happens, he isn't missing out on fighting with the ten shadows user. he rly got everything. like damn sukuna spoiled him fr and megs was caught in the middle of their special interest bonding shit 😭😭😭😭

  • Love how Gojo's first words to Sukuna were, "You are the challenger." Throughout his life, Sukuna was always the one challenged.

    image

It was as if Gojo indirectly said, "I'm stronger" or "I can easily reach you."

    image

"To validate who they thought themselves to be."

    The strongest.

  • it’s been like 1yr since I last read Shinjuku BUT Sukuna’s skeleton got me thinking about it more like…

the way Sukuna kept spacing out and looking bored and throwing up…. (ik that also bc Gojo is gone and Yuuji was separating their souls too, but my brain is running w disabled sukuna thoughts rn).

before I thought Sukuna had coat hanger pain bc of the way he kept touching the back of his neck. which is another POTs symptom. and the way that Sukuna has 2 more arms and his heart has to make up for that. the way he could function without heart and confidently ripped out Yuuji’s (detention center) after accidentally healing Yuuji’s hand like…. Sukuna was constantly subconsciously running RCT to make up for the low blood volume / lack of blood flow to his head.

and at some point in Shinjuku, stopped constantly running RCT. left his own hands missing.

I thought maybe that also had something to do with his eye bones changing shape a lot but tbh I’m not rly sure what that’s about. the only connection I can make is sukuna being so similar to Sadako, who wears a mask in the same place during a stage play in Ringu 0.

I’m gonna link that skeleton art here
