This has been one of the hardest songs to pull out of the depths of myself. It’s been quite emotionally intense working on it. Anyone who records and releases music knows how many times one has to listen to a song and it’s not been easy for me to focus in on this one. I struggle to record and put my work out at the best of times (which is probably down to early trauma in the music industry but that’s a story for another day 🌀)! Maybe now that it’s out in the world I can let go of it and move on to the next moment.

I deeply appreciate all of you who support my work and listen to my music. To everyone who’s had me on the bill since I became and mother, been so accommodating to the changes in my life and created space for me to continue doing what I love which keeps the fire burning.
