General likes: I am very much a DA2-only reader and author; my interest in characters and ships from the other games is minimal/non-existent, sorry. However, I love most things when it comes to fanfic or fanart – basically, as long as a DA2 fic is well-written and has an interesting premise, I’m sure I’ll love it. NSFW smut, SFW fluff, unusual premises or styles/formats, longfic, one-shots, darkfic… as long as it’s not on my list of dislikes either below or in my AO3 request it’s all good. I just want to be told an enjoyable and convincing story about the characters and ships I like.

Canonverse, canon-divergent, AU… I’ll take it. Entertain me! Imaginative/unusual AUs are fine – I often write unusual AUs and premises myself – but you can always check with me via the mods if you’re unsure whether I’ll like your AU/scenario or not. Same for art, and yes, NSFW art with any of my pairings is fine! Let your creativity and imagination fly! 

Will give my non-existent firstborn for a good Soulmate AU, but it is (obviously) not a requirement! Just saying, LOL

I prefer the default Hawke family’s appearances and names (I have no OCs and never make any, so you don’t need to worry about those), but if you are more comfortable using a custom Hawke family’s appearances, I am happy for those as well. I have a strong preference for Purple Hawke (Garrett or Marian), but will accept Blue Hawke or Red Hawke if that’s what you’re more comfortable with. As long as the Hawke family are human (as per DA2 canon), then I’m good! 

I am broadly pro-mage (and pro-Anders) but I honestly don’t mind if you’ve written me something that isn’t pro-mage or pro-Anders – I mean, I myself write a lot of Templar Carver and templar perspectives in fic – as long as it doesn’t contain a DNW and there’s no character-bashing or lecturing/pontificating. (If you really really dislike Anders, then it’s probably best to leave him out of whatever you’re creating for me. It’s probably unlikely he needs to be in (m)any of my requests anyway.) Same with art. I’m much more interested in being told a good story above all.

Note on background pairings: For safety’s sake (i.e. so that I don’t receive something with a surprise NOTP in it), it’s probably best not to include background pairings – especially if they’re DA:O or DA:I pairings – but if you really want to, then the following are always OK: Hawke/Fenris (any gender Hawke), Hawke/Anders (any gender fine but I strongly prefer Male Hawke), Female Hawke/Isabela, Carver/Merrill, Bethany/Sebastian, Aveline/Donnic and Saemus/Ashaad. 

Dislikes: These are often pairing-specific and/or scenario-specific, but generally include the following:

- Unrequited Carver/Merrill (they’re my OTP, so if they’re both alive in your universe I’d like them “together” in some way, even if that’s only sexually) 
- Merrill being infantilised in a romantic/sexual relationship 
- Misogyny or bashing of female characters (especially Bianca Davri) 
- Any kink involving things that go in a toilet (i.e. no scat, watersports, vomit)
- Daddy kink, mummy kink or ageplay
- Vore 
- Necrophilia
- Biting 
- Body piercings 
- Clamps 
- High School AU / College AU
- Coffeeshop AU (although for some pairings I don’t mind it so much) 
- OCs 
- Self-inserts / Characters being used as self-inserts 
- Infidelity (except Varric/Bianca – both of them are canonically unfaithful to each other)
- Bashing past partners 
- Mention of any characters that do not appear in DA2 in any way (so please no DA:O or DA:I characters, unless they already appear in DA2)
- Animal play
- Choking/breathplay 
- Sounding 
- Bloodplay
