Ive just recieved a notification from
Google Cloud Platform to go into my account and renew a critical piece of information. On attempting to do this I am left boggled. The arcane and ridiculous labyrinthine interface is wrapped in so much nonsense that I simply cannot find where I am directed to go, and various options just dont exist. This I guess is what happens in monopoly situations, companies become empires where they just dont have to create functional products and various parts of the monolith fall into disrepair and ruin. Totally bizarre but understandable when we look at the drivers for corporations being money, more money, and money money money. When will this too big to fail company lumber into its grave ? dunno. For the moment I will just stop using their maps api and develop work arounds by focusing my interests elsewhere. What a pity. With the amount of money the company has it could easily produce workable user interfaces, human support and use clear everyday language in their product billing areas. I am experiencing a serious issue with my Google account’s two-factor authentication. My old Galaxy A53, which is the only trusted device for generating security codes, is broken. Although my new Pixel 10 is logged into my Google account, I cannot use it to generate valid codes for signing into third-party apps like Twitter or for changing account settings.

The system does not provide any alternative options such as “I cannot use this device” or account recovery prompts during login. Attempts to use the Pixel 10’s security codes fail, and removing the broken device also requires verification via the A53. Essentially, my account is locked because the only trusted device is unavailable, leaving me unable to access certain services or update security settings.

This situation highlights a critical limitation in Google’s 2FA system: there is no fallback when the sole trusted device is broken, and users are forced to rely on contacting Google support for resolution.

After last software update from moto 5g 100s of spam emails were down loaded to my phone I've turned off All settings that would let this to continue contacted phone provider, moto, Google and have set enhanced security,tryed all spam blockers on Google Play nothing seems to stop them guess it's all about them not you

Google is always switched me out and end my account. It’s never leaving me. Logged in my data on my timeline is always messed up. If there was another service out there that was better I’d go with them.
