Delivered structure, got silence — and was removed without cause
I worked at Banxware for 5 weeks in 2025 as a Senior Marketing Expert. I was hired immediately after a successful case study — and told not to deliver anything in the first month. Still, I built CRM lifecycle stages, launched ad campaigns, audited GDPR issues, and created with the team first KPI framework. My documentation was blocked from internal visibility, and just one week after defining the KPIs (which didn’t exist before), I was let go with the reasoning that I “hadn’t met them.”
The issue wasn’t performance — it was lack of leadership, strategic understanding, and internal transparency. Future applicants, especially in Marketing: ask who owns strategy, how success is measured, and whether your work will even be visible to those making decisions.
