We have amassed a large amount of Barter dollars over the years, but we have found it almost impossible to spend these. There is either nothing we want on Barter or the regulations make it less than attractive to participate. I have tried to cancel our account for the past year as I refuse to pay the monthly fees when there are so many thousand barter dollars in our account doing nothing. I have asked if I can gift my Barter dollars, but this is not possible. I have also tried to donate these to charity but there are a limited number of random charities to choose from. I would not recommend Bartercard to anyone .

Tash has been very helpful for my business

We originally took on Bartercard for our company as a client wanted to pay us part of our invoice in BC.
In the last 2 years or more it has been an absolute disaster!!!
You cannot use it anywhere - for example BC did not even have one tiler that they had on their books in Brisbane let alone the Sunshine Coast.
We sit here paying our monthly fee over and over again for the points we still have left and just getting all these random emails with people selling overpriced or second hand items for an outrageous amount of points.
The charges that BC apply - when not using the points/when using the points/when someone pays you points is disgusting.
They are proud of themselves for doing work on the website which is totally useless when there is nothing to use it on and on the very odd occasion that you can use it - those people now only do 50/50 at best.
Our fees are just funding BC pay roll with no benefit for its members.
