Brightside Insurance causes more stress than it's worth. You do the right thing but Brightside can't do a single right thing and I ended up getting taking to court by police but after a nearly 2 years ordeal I proven my innocence when Brightside was at full fault but still they make customers lives hell and won't communicate back with you. Worst insurance company ever. Careful as you could end up behind bars. Unprofessional company. They prefer to ignore you especially when they cause all the problems. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I have been hanging on for more than 30 minutes to speak to an operator, perhaps because I want to cancel the very expensive building insurance I had purchased while a loft was being completed. I now find it is not just the cancellation fee of £35.00 that I had written down but a credit agreement charge of £185.00 having taken out monthly payments rather as I knew the building work would take less than 3 months. Buyer beware do not take this specialist insurance with One insurance Solutions that is in fact Brightside Insurance and most certainly do not take out monthly payments with Close brothers.
My car insurance policy is no longer available with this company. I have requested proof of No Claims required by my new insurance company and was assured it would be issued on the 19th August. It has not been issued to date and my new insurer will not accept anything less. I am currently in limbo with no insurance !!!
Found some information confusing and not very clear. Had to press for confirmation the policy would not be renewed. Disappointed that car insurance is no longer offered, as overall, the service was good.
I had to cancel my insurance, and the process was very simple, and the operator was very helpful. I was given all rhe information I needed.

This company has now told my bank god knows what and the £40.66 I paid extra and bank paid me bank has now been taken back put my bank and given back to this fraud of a company so they now owe me £40.66 and £204 .00 odds which I have got case against them pending .

Been trying to get through for 2 days. Online person wasn’t helpful helpful but lady I spoke to wasn’t and then hung up after me asking to have my account reset. It’s the first time I’ve needed to contact you for something and couldn’t get it sorted. Good job I wasn’t stranded on a motorway needing to contact you.

We arranged our professional indemnity insurance through Brightside in 2024 and made sure to clearly explain our business activities and specific cover requirements. Despite providing all the necessary details, we have now discovered that they supplied us with the wrong type of policy, one that does not align with our business and has left us exposed.
This is a serious issue for any business relying on professional advice and accurate insurance guidance. We trusted Brightside to get this right, but they failed to do so.
I would not recommend Brightside’s business insurance services to others.

I called this company for a quote, all initially went well and quote accepted, the advisor, name withheld, says as its late in the day and we are a broker I will call the insurance company and get back to me tomorrow at 9.30am.
Guess what NO call back, what a waste of time, not what I would call professional, I then called another company, success, I know now to avoid Brightside.
What went wrong this time!!!! This company has got hold of my phone number and everyday I'm getting text messages saying my insurance has been cancelled..... 1 I have not nor will I take out insurance with these.
2 the customer service is shocking and dont care what you say. The next action I will take is call the police as they are harassing me then I will look at taking them to court for obtaining personal information...
