Für die Reparatur setzen die geschulten Carglass-Monteure das eigens vom Unternehmen entwickelte und patentierte Verfahren „Glass Medic“ ein. Das Auto ist innerhalb von circa 30 Minuten wieder fahrbereit. Beim Neueinbau von Windschutz-, Seiten- oder Heckscheiben greift der Fahrzeugglasspezialist auf eine Bandbreite von insgesamt rund 50.000 verschiedenen Scheiben, die es derzeit auf dem Markt gibt, zurück. Stone repair was attempted twice on the same sites within 18 months. One site was unchanged but the second improved. The unchanged site was quoted that cannot be any better. The second try was miraculously perfect! But the other site was botched badly and doubled in size. It reflects an annoying amount of Light. It was another "we can't do any better" bad repair. I have to cover it with black electrical tape to cut out the glare. Also, this repair of already attempted repairs was again fully charged to my insurance which I feel is scamming of the insurance company!
